Apart from owning LifeFlix v3.6, a Mac device, tape device, you’ll need additional accessories are to begin archiving your footage.

Mac devices support the Firewire protocol which is the protocol that DV tape devices use to send information, however Mac devices do not have a DV port, so a couple cable adaptors are required to establish a connection between both devices.
